Founded in 1984 as a tenants' co-operative, it is the largest artists' studio group in the North East, representing an eclectic mix of some of the best artists, designers, makers, performers and musicians in the region, at the heart of the cultural quarter in the Ouseburn Valley. Annual Open Studios event, last weekend in November.
