In July, Foundation bid farewell to the old faithful with only Monday’s funky house and R&B night Smile holding onto its spot, August sees Foundation revamped and ready to unveil its fabulous, fresh new line-up. New weekly night Feedback brings the ever-popular indie rock’n’roll Thursdays format into a whole new league, adding an electro backroom and inviting an array of superstar guests including Libertines’ frontman Carl Barat and MTV’s Queens of Noize. Friday nights are a veritable who’s who of legendary nights featuring one-offs from Ministry, Hacienda, Fantazia, Freaky Dancing, Cream and Promise! Foundation Presents take over Saturdays bringing you the finest in soulful, funky house with guests including DJ Spen, Hardsoul and Robert Owens. Foundation has yet another trick up its sleeve and come September onward, a select few of the UK’s biggest national nights set up a permanent home in Newcastle’s most popular venue. It’s all ultra hush-hush at the mo but trust us we’ve had a sneaky peak and you wont be disappointed!
