Considering most people on a Newcastle city break only spend one or two evenings max in our beautiful city we have produced a guide depending on the specification you have that evening. All restaurants have a small description including an over view of price.
The People of Newcastle and the North East in general are proud for their region and are constantly looking for that honest taste of food produced from our own sea, fields and hedgerows as the seasons are starting to change.
I enlighten you because of "The Taste District Food and Drink Festival". You should be looking for the Rheged visitors centre just off the A66 at Penrith. The shop encapsulates gourmet goodies from throughout Cumbria. The food festival starts on the weekend of the 8th and 9th of October, including food demos from Ross Burden plus local cheesmakers and heritage butchers showing of their skills. A two day ticket works out at £5 pre and £6 on the door. Call 01768860090 of check out Taste District
