This is another one of the Whetherspoon creations and we have to thank them for transforming this building. That before this bar was not used. The decoration is very old school Victorian but the greatest thrill is the grand stair case which leads you up to a second floor which is mainly used for the serving of food. This pub is massive and it is a great pub on the way to another. Very cheap drinks and very busy on a weekend especially if there is a football match. Worth going to see the decor and have a nice cheap meal.
